In order to further do a good job in the work of graduate alumni, effectively strengthen the close contact between alumni and the Alma mater, build a good communication platform, and promote the common development of the school and alumni cause. On May 22,2023, four medical students from the International College, PAL ANAND MOHAN and UPADHYAY KRISHNA from India and RAZA MARIAM and IQBAL MIAN MUHAMMAD FARAS from Pakistan, attended the alumni liaison meeting of 2023 of the University of South China. School leaders issued a letter of appointment to them. These four students from the International College will assume the responsibilities of alumni liaison.
Alumni are the name card of the school and valuable potential resources. The International College will strive to strengthen the work of alumni construction, strengthen the alumni liaison and service functions, maintain the close contact between the alumni and the Alma mater, build a good communication platform, and promote the common development of the University of South China and the alumni cause.
Alumni liaison responsibilities of the University of South China
1. Responsible for establishing class or grade wechat group or QQ group, keeping close contact with class and grade students, assisting in pushing and improving alumni information database;
2. Master the dynamic information of class and grade students after graduation, and be responsible for the liaison between class and grade students, class and grade classmates and the college, class and grade students and the local alumni association;
3. Timely provide the effective contact information of the class and grade students to the college and the alumni association office, recommend outstanding alumni deeds, as well as opinions and suggestions on the construction and development of the Alma mater;
4. Actively participate in the activities of the alumni association of the Alma mater and the alumni association of the employment place, actively plan and organize related activities of class and grade alumni, and timely feedback the activity information to the college and the alumni Association office;
5. In case of changes in my work unit or contact information, I should give timely feedback to the college and the alumni Association office to maintain long-term contact.
