Late on September 26, to promote international students' understanding of Chinese traditional culture, international college to "Mid-Autumn festival" as an opportunity to hold the opening ceremony and the seventh international cultural festival poetry tea party activities, more than 200 students from different countries, international college all teachers, and college of language and literature teachers invited luyi, Ye Cong ling participate in the activities. The college prepared moon cakes, fruits, snacks, drinks and small gifts for all the guests. The atmosphere was warm, and everyone gathered together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The activity was presided over by Vice President Chen Zhiming. He wished all the students a happy Mid-Autumn Festival, and hoped that everyone could learn something in South China, and invited Lu people to introduce the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In order to deepen the understanding of international students on the Mid-Autumn Festival culture, Shandong students organized the Mid-Autumn Festival poetry guessing activity. International students guessed the Chinese poetry according to the teacher's English prompts, and those who answered the correct questions received small gifts. The international students enthusiastically answered the questions and felt the beauty of ancient poetry of traditional Chinese culture during the game.
After the Mid-Autumn Festival poetry contest, international students from all over the world completely ignited the atmosphere of the party with the song and dance programs with great national characteristics. The performers on the stage and the audience sang and danced together, showing the diversity of international students' culture incisively and vividly. Finally, Ye Cong ling taught international students to write Mid-Autumn Festival poems with a brush, which was loved by international students and took photos with them.
This activity makes international students know more about Chinese traditional culture, but also shows the different style of international students, the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. International students expressed their welcome to such activities and hoped that more opportunities to participate in cultural exchange activities in the future.
