On the afternoon of July 2nd, the offline research project of "Artificial Intelligence and Big Data" between the University of South China and the University of Macau was completed as scheduled, and the students arrived safely in Hengyang from Macau. This project is taught in full English, including 8-antenna offline study and 11 weeks of online course learning.
The students departed from Hengyang and arrived in Macau on June 25th, and officially started classes on the morning of June 26th. During the research period, all students strictly abide by discipline, study diligently, and actively interact with professors. Professor Lianghao Yu from the University of Macau gave a lecture on "Data Science and Data Visualization" to the students; Professor Zhiwen Huang leads students into the world of "decision systems and artificial intelligence". Professor Zhiguo Gong and Professor Quanwei Pan gave lectures on the themes of "Database and Data Mining Technology" and "Health Science and Data Analysis"respectively.

In addition, the research group visited the Macau Science Museum and experienced the knowledge, scientificity, and fun of artificial intelligence through its numerous exhibits. They enjoyed the fun of exploring science through hands-on experience. The students also visited the Macau Return Gift Exhibition Hall established in commemoration of Macau's return to the motherland, as well as cultural landscapes such as the Golden Lotus Square, a symbol of Macau's return to the motherland, and the Macau Museum, which enhanced their understanding of Macau's history, geography, and culture. Realizing firsthand that Macau is an inseparable part of the motherland, and behind the sustained prosperity of Macau is a stable and prosperous motherland.

On the last day of the group presentation, all students were divided into 6 groups and completed the study report around topics such as "Aim Robot", "A Smart Power Plant", and "Face Orthogonal Transformation". Professor Zhiwen Huang, a member of the judging committee at the University of Macau, commented on the performance of each group one by one and presented the winning panel members with a letter of recommendation issued by Matthew from the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Macau.

At the graduation ceremony for offline research, Professor Dingji Liu, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the University of Macau, presented proof of attendance for the research activities to the students, congratulating them on successfully completing the offline research exchange. Dingji Liu highly praised the inquiring spirit of all the teachers and students in the research group, and looked forward to more students and teachers coming to the University of Macau for exchange and learning. Professor Guicheng He, the head of the research group and the deputy dean of the School of Resources Environment and Safety Engineering, urged the members of the research group to broaden their horizons and pursue higher levels of their own development through this Macau study, setting themselves a higher goal positioning, and urging students to establish a lifelong learning awareness, and the process of seeking knowledge is endless.
