with the participants arriving safely in Hengyang. The second batch of

taught in English and each batch consist
ed
of 8 days of offline study and 11 weeks of online course learning.
The second batch of students departed from Hengyang and arrived in Macau on 20 August, with the official start of classes on the morning of 21 August. During the study period, Professor Ailin Wu of the University of Macau gave a lecture on "Application and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Health Industry"; Professor Jiahong Lu gave a lecture on "Autophagy Lysosomal Pathway in Cancer and Neurodegenerative Diseases"; and Professor Zhifu Huang led the students to learn about "Biomedical Science and Technology" and the "Biomedical Technology". Professor Guanhao Huang explained "Introduction to the Basics and Frontiers of Genetics and Bioinformatics". All the students were disciplined, studied seriously and interacted actively with the professors.
Classroom Learning
In addition, the group visited Kiang Wu Hospital, where the hospital staff introduced the basic situation of the hospital and the hospital management system and medical policies of Macao. The participants also visited the Macao Reunification Gift Museum, the Golden Lotus Square, the symbolic place of Macao's return to the motherland, the Macao Museum and other humanistic landscapes, which further deepened their understanding of Macao's history, geography and culture, and they learnt that Macao is an inseparable part of the motherland, and that behind Macao's continuous prosperity is a motherland that is steadily developing and continuously prospering.

On the last day of the group debriefing, all participants were divided into 6 groups and completed the debriefing around the themes of "AI", "big health" and "TCM". Professor Zhifu Huang of the University of Macau, the judge of the debriefing session, commented on the performance of each group and awarded the winning group members with a letter of recommendation issued by Matthew of the Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Macau.

At the closing ceremony of the offline study tour, Professor Dingji Liu, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Macau, presented the students with certificates of attendance of the study tour and congratulated them on the successful completion of the offline study tour. Prof Liu highly praised the spirit of learning and enquiry of all the students and teachers of the study group, and looked forward to more students and teachers coming to the University of Macau for exchange and learning. The head of the delegation, Professor Li Mei Xiang of Hengyang Medical College, encouraged the students to continue to move forward, to ride the wind and waves, and to move forward with all their strength.
