Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of held the 2023 annual meeting on Hunan Foreign Experts Project training. About 60 people in charge of the provincial foreign experts project attended the meeting. At the meeting, the first batch of Hunan Provincial Designated Service Center for Foreign Experts was awarded. The University of South China was one of the 18 units in the
first batch.
The setup of the center aims to provide more high-quality and efficient services for innovation and entrepreneurship of foreign experts in Hunan.
According to Zheng Lixin, the Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department of Hunan Province, Hunan Province will give full play to the unique role of foreign experts in supporting the construction of a core competitive scientific and technological innovation highland, improve the quality of foreign expert service, and go deep into the innovative ideas in order to optimize project implementation and enhance service support.
