On the morning of May 22, 2017,at the invitation of Chinese Embassy to Nepal, an 3-person delegation of USC led by Vice-president Liu Shengxue paid an official call on the embassy and met with the ambassador – Ms. Yu Hong.
Mr. Liu introduced Ms. Yu the history and characteristics of USC and reported the goal of his visitingNepal. He expressed his understanding of promoting college international education exchange and cooperation in a response to the “Belt and Road Initiative” and hoped the USC could get instructions, support and help from the embassy in the process of cooperation withNepaleducational and cultural institutions.
Ambassador Ms. Yu introduced the functions and working mechanism, fully affirmed the measures taken by the USC to communicate and cooperate withNepalcounterparts as an active response and implementation to the National Belt and Road Initiative Strategy, and definitely expressed the Embassy would support USC exchange and cooperation activities inNepal. She also thanks USC for recommending an outstanding teacher Mr.Ji Guangli to support the embassy work.
Chief of Political and Press Section Mr. Jiang Wei joined the meeting. Dean of International College Ms. Li Yuqiong, Director of General Office Mr.Cao Ning, participated in the above activities.
