On the morning of May 23, 2017,with the recommendation of Nepal-China Cultural & Educational Council, Vice-president Mr. Liu Shengxue paid official calls on Nepal Ministry of Education and Nepal Medical Council separately.
Joint secretary and spokesman of Nepal Ministry of Education, Mr. Hari Prasad Lamsal, cordially greeted the visiting delegation. After listening to the introduction of USC and USC’s initiatives to build collaborative programs with Nepal educational institutions, estabilsh Confucious Academy in Nepal and broaden students recruitment channels, he on behalf of the Nepal Ministry of Education expressed his appreciation and willingness to support USC ‘s international education exchange and cooperation moves in Nepal, and said the government would like to actively help coordinate in case of necessities.
In the Nepal Medical Council, Registrar Dr. Dilip Sharma warmly welcomed the delegation. Vice-president Liu introduced USC’s history, distinctive features and brand of medical education, and made a butt joint concerning medical education of 17Nepalstudents studying in USC. The registrar inquired detailedly the medical education mechanisms in USC, informed the requirements of higher medical education acknowledged by the NMC, and expressed his willingness to recommend more and more excellentNepalstudents to study inChina.
Nepal Medical Council is a legislative institution of Federal Republic of Nepal. AnyNepalstudent who wants to study medicine abroad must first get an approval from this institution, otherwise when they graduate and go back toNepal, they can’t take part in the Doctor’s License Examination.
