USC Done Well in Times Higher Education Imapact Rankings

April 22, Times Higher Education released the second Times Higher Education World University Impact Ranking. A total of 857 universities from 89 countries and regions on six continents participated in at least one ranking of sustainable development goals. According to the Times Higher Education World University Influence Ranking Guide, our university has participated in the (SDGs) ranking of 5 sustainable development goals, the specific rankings are as follows:

1. Sustainable Development goal 1 (No Poverty): ranking 101-200.

The ranking measures universities' research on poverty and their support for students from poor families to ensure the implementation of the concept of inclusive education.

2. Sustainable Development goal 2 (Zero Hunger): ranking 101-200.

The ranking measures university research on hunger, teaching on food sustainability, and efforts to address food waste and hunger among students and local communities.

3. Sustainable Development goal 4 (Quality Education): ranking 401-600.

The ranking focuses on the contribution of universities to early education and lifelong learning, pedagogical research, and efforts to promote inclusive education.

4. Sustainable development goal 5 (Gender Equality): ranking 301-400.

The ranking mainly measures universities' research in gender studies, policies on gender equality, and efforts in women's recruitment and promotion.

5. Sustainable development goal 17 (Partnerships for Goal Achievement): ranking 601 +.

The ranking focuses on how universities can contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals through cooperation with other countries, the promotion of best practices and thepublication of data.
