2017年4月27日，国际学院院长李玉琼、副院长左建宏、学工室陈琛老师和教务室郑小娟老师就如何提高我校机械专业来华留学生学习能力和加强教学管理赴机械学院进行了调研。机械学院副院长陈文波等领导陪同并参与了调研会议，同时与会人员还包括机械学院教务的老师、所有2015级机留班的来华留学生和任课老师。
On April 27, a group of 4 staff led by Madame Li, dean of the international college, had a discussion with the staff from the school of mechanical engineering on how to improve mechanical engineering international students study competency and enhance teaching management. Vice- dean Mr. Chen Wenbo, on behalf of the engineering school, attended the meeting, and so did all courses teachers, teacher in charge of teaching affairs and international students majoring in mechanic engineering of Batch 2015.
会议研究了如何提高机留班学生的学习能力和学生上课积极性，会上任课老师都积极发表了自己的意见，师生之间就存在的有关问题进行了和谐融洽的有效交流。最后李玉琼院长还就如何建立针对机械专业来华留学生的“辅学、导学、助学”制度提出了建设性意见。
Centering on how to increase the learning capacities and inspire learning initiative of the international mechanic engineering students, course teachers actively expressed their insights, and the students also revealed their difficulties in study. Through the meeting, a mutual understanding and effective communication came into being in a harmonious way between students and teachers. At the end of the meeting, Dean Li proposed constructive ideas of Mentoring and Aiding Learning system for international mechanic engineering students.
2015级机留班是我校第一个留学生成班制的工科班级。此次会议对推进我校工科成班制留学生的教学质量意义重大，我院将按照学校“一基三实、一路三建”的发展思路，积极探索来华留学生培养的有效模式。打造留学南华品牌，国际学院上下众志成城。
Batch 2015 of mechanic engineering is the first international engineering class as an organic unit in our university. This meeting will be of great significance to engineering majors teaching in USC. We international college will follow the university development doctrine “One Basis Three and Solidifications, One Road and Three Constructions”, enthusiastically explores effective methods to train and cultivate our international students with the aim to forge a brand of “Studying in USC”.
