At 7:30 a.m. on June 12, 2025, the 2025 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of Unniversity of South China was grandly held. All graduates, including international students from the School of International College, gathered together to celebrate the successful completion of their academic studiesand embark on a new chapter in life.
At the ceremony, after the solemn national anthem, international students from the School of International College, along with other graduates, took turns ascending to the rostrum. University leaders presented them with degree certificates and graduation certificates, extending sincere blessings, which not only affirms their diligent academic efforts but also embodies the alma mater's best wishes for their future paths.
QURASHI MUHAMMAD NASIR, a master's graduate in mechanical engineering from the School of International College at Unniversity of South China, delivered a speech as a graduate representative. Hailing from Pakistan, he affectionately recalled his ten-year academic journey at Unniversity of South China, sharing how he not only achieved academic excellence and won scholarships but also built a family and found happiness in China. Expressing heartfelt gratitude to dedicated faculty, friendly Chinese people, and his alma mater, Nanhua, he called it "a second home." His sincere speech was met with warm applause from the entire audience.
It is worth mentioning that BENSON EZEKIEL UDOM, a graduate student in civil engineering, had his wife attend the ceremony as a family representative. She personally witnessed her husband's growth and academic success at Unniversity of South China, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the university for providing high-quality education and a warm environment for international students.
