Mid-term Summary Meeting held for International Students

On May 5 2017, a mid-term summary meeting for all USC international students was held in classroom 101 p of the 9^thteaching building. This meeting was presided by Mr.Chen, a student counselor from International College.

2017年5月5日，南华大学国际学院全院来华留学生中期总结会议在第九教学楼101教室举行。国际学院学工室老师陈琛组织了此次会议。

A detailed summary was made on the international students affairs happened since the beginning of this semester. Dormitory discipline was highlighted in this meeting. Mr.Chen emphasized that since international students came so far away from their own hometowns to pursue their studies in China, they should cherish the opportunity and put more energy on learning rather than playing and hanging out. During their study in China, they are representing not only themselves but also the images of their own country, so they would better behave appropriately, observe Chinese laws and university regulations, and respect Chinese customs.

会议针对本学期开学以来的国际学院各项工作做了详细的总结，并突出强调了宿舍的纪律问题。陈老师指出，来华留学生背井离乡来到中国学习，代表的是其所在国籍的形象，在南华大学学习期间，必须尊重中国的地方风俗习惯，遵守中国的法律和学校的规章制度管理。

Warm applause from the international students ended the meeting.

会议在学生热烈的掌声中结束。
